[Abstract]

Currently, our 8 fluidized-bed gasification melting furnaces have been operating satisfactorily since the first furnace was installed in 2002. Although the fluidized-bed gasification melting furnaces used to usually run 3 or 4 months alternately, long-term continuous operation results have become a requirement for bidding conditions of waste treatment plants nowadays. Recently, at almost the same time, we have achieved long-term continuous operation of gasification melting furnaces for 182 days at the Ishikawa-Hokubu RDF Center and 200 days at the Sano-City Mikamo Clean Center. As a result, we can show the stability of our gasification melting furnaces. Below, we will report the operation situations of the above 2 plants, and instances of improvement of the operation plans through the year by the achievement of long-term continuous operation.
