[Abstract]

This project included the construction of a ramp bridge passing over the Chuo Expressway and an extension floor deck, both of which were design and construction firsts for our company. The extension floor deck was constructed so as to prevent water leakage to the bridge abutment and girder edges. This construction method is currently being widely adopted across the country.
This report mainly summarizes the design and construction features of the extension floor deck.
